Otterton Mill has been grinding grains for over 1000 years and was mentioned in the Doomsday book. Today the Mill’s custodians are Chris and Carol Wright. Set in the picturesque Otter valley they invite your to explore the mill and its wonderful surrounds as the launch event for the Taste East Devon Festival. The wheel will be turning and the millers demonstrating the ancient process of grinding grains. These are then baked into goods in the artisan bakery and served in the award winning cafe. Alongside the milling demonstration there will be artisans on site selling their handicrafts and self guided river trails - will you spot the beavers that have set up home in the River Otter?
